To be as flexible as possible, it is recommended that you include up to twice as many targets as you scientifically desire. This helps with scheduling, as well as ensuring your target density is high enough to reduce various overheads. An upper limit does not really exist. Many consortium surveys have defined up to 10 Million objects with no problem, however this can lead to long ETC computations
