For up-to-date information, please refer to the Whitepapers or the Science Survey Plans of the respective surveys.

Information below is at the time of writing (April 2019).

The following surveys have given these magnitude ranges for their observations (using the AB magnitude system):

S5 Galaxy Clusters

- Galaxies with an r-band magnitude between 17.5 and 22  (deep survey), and between 17.5 and 20 (bright survey)

S6 AGN

- The AGN survey will have the following limiting magnitudes depending on the target types:

        - X-ray wide: in the r-band with r < 22.8

        - X-ray deep: in the r-band with r < 23.2

        - IR wide: in the r-band with r < 22.8

        - High-z quasar: in the i-band with i < 22.5 (for redshift z > 5), and in the z-band with z_AB < 22.0 (for redshift z > 6 )

S7 Galaxy Evolution (WAVES)

- WAVES-Wide galaxies in the z-band with magnitudes of Z ≲ 21.1 mag

- WAVES-Deep galaxies in the z-band with magnitudes of Z ≲ 21.25 mag

S8 Cosmology Redshift Survey

- Emission line galaxies (ELGs) in the g-band with magnitudes in the range 21.0 < g < 23.2

- Luminous red galaxies (LRGs) in the J-band with magnitudes in the range 18.5 < J < 19.5

- Bright galaxies (BGs) in the J-band with magnitudes in the range 16 < J < 18

- Quasars (QSOs) in the g-band with magnitudes of g < 22.5

- Lyman alpha QSOs in the r-band with magnitudes of r < 22.7
